ODAC Weekly Update – Week of October 6-12, 2025
Practice Schedule and Adjustments
All groups will follow their regular practice schedule Monday through Thursday. Practice adjustments will be in place on Friday and Saturday due to the Bubble Prep and Put-up at Great Bridge.
On Friday—all evening Super Squad Yellow, Super Squad Blue, 9-10, 11-12, and Senior 3 swimmers from our Great Bridge site will shift to Honey Bee and follow their regular practice schedule.
On Friday – all Senior 2 performance track swimmers will shift to Great Bridge and practice from 4:30 to 7:00 pm.
On Friday - all afternoon,Super Squad Yellow, Super Squad Blue, and 9-10 swimmers will remain at Great Bridge and follow their regular practice times.
On Saturday – all 9-10, 11-12, and Senior 3 practices at both practice sites are canceled due to the bubble put-up.
The bubble put-up is scheduled for Saturday, October 11, 2025 at the Great Bridge Swim & Racquet Club, starting at 8:00 am. Volunteer signup and food donations signups are being taken on ODAC’s website.

Warm-up and Start times for the Atlantic Coast Clash, October 10-12, 2025, at the Princess Anne YMCA:
Friday PM Session (13-Overs): 3:30 pm warmup – 4:30 start
Saturday AM Session (9-12): 8:00 am warmup – 8:30 am start
Saturday PM Session (13-Overs): 1:30 pm warmup – 2:30 pm start
Sunday AM Session (9-12): 11:30 am warmup – 12:00 pm start
Rising Stars Meet – Volunteer Appreciation
A huge thank you to all of our incredible volunteers who helped make this past weekend’s ODAC Rising Stars Meet in Newport News such a success! Nearly every shift was filled ahead of time, and when it came time to work—our volunteers were on their A-game.

The ODAC Trunk-n-Treat for all ODAC 12-Unders is scheduled for Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Great Bridge Swim & Racquet Club tennis courts. All Senior 1, Senior 2, and Senior 3 swimmers are actively preparing to produce games for the younger swimmers in the program. All 8-Unders are invited to the Trunk-n-Treat starting at 6:45 pm, and all 9–12-year-olds are invited as of 7:00 pm. The Trunk-n-Treat will end at 8:00 pm.

Upcoming Signup Deadlines
October 8, 2025, is the signup deadline for the October 15, 2025, Senior Team Night at the Hunt Club Farm. This event is open to all Senior 1, Senior 2, and Senior 3 swimmers in the program.
