Practice Schedule and Adjustments
All groups will follow their regular practice schedule Monday through Friday.
On Saturday – all 9-10, 11-12, and Senior 3 practices at both practice sites are canceled due to the Rising Stars Meet in Newport News.

Warmup and Start Times for the ODAC-hosted Rising Stars Meet, October 4-5, 2025, at the Midtown Aquatic Center in Newport News:
Saturday 8-Under Session – 7:55 am warmup – 8:30 am start
Saturday 9-Over Session – 12:40 pm warmup – 1:15 pm start
Sunday 9-Over Session – 7:55 am warmup – 8:30 am start
There are still several volunteer slots needing to be filled by families that are attending the meet. Please take a moment to sign up for volunteering slots that are in need of being filled. We will not have the ability to run the meet effectively without everyone’s assistance.
Cavalier Kick-off Meet – Senior 1 and Senior 2 Performance track swimmers traveling with the team to Charlottesville will be leaving on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 12:00 pm (noon) from the Honey Bee pool.
Swim-a-thon—The ODAC Swim-a-thon is coming up, and we need your help to fill our baskets! Each practice group will have its own theme. If you can donate items (or money), please give them to your site representative anytime between now and October 10th. Attached is the theme for your practice group. There are some ideas to get you started, but feel free to reach out to your site rep for different ideas. Don't be afraid to be creative and think outside the box!
Trunk ‘n Treat—ODAC will start collecting candy donations at both sites this week for our massively successful and highly regarded Trunk ‘n Treat event in mid-October. If your family can purchase candy for the event, we would appreciate it. Simply bring in the bags of candy and drop them in the Halloween-themed bins at each site.
